Brunswick Heads Town Garage Sale…

When a small town already known for it’s love of vintage gets together and almost every house/shop/church/school/motel in the town converge into one huge übertown garage sale – you order your low-tide soy-cap to-go, and you GO! Once a year, close to the Winter solstice, Brunswick Heads holds a mass-town-garage sale called OLD & GOLD. It’s on all our shopping calendars – a perfect time to top-up your vintage collection or grab a few pre-loved pieces for your home.

It’s always super chilly and crisp, sometimes you get sunshine, and often rain, but rain or shine, we go every year, fuelled on local coffees, wallets full of cash – and shop up a storm! Parking is a bitch (pull up some curb), and you can’t find an ATM anywhere so bring cash, but it’s so worth it, you see the same happy-go-lucky vintage shoppers every year, (Sarah Phoenix we’re looking at you!), coffees in hand and smiles on dials!
